Framing “girl” and “boy” as separate genders from “woman” and “man” is such an amazing take. it’s a framework that accommodates and explains so many trans experiences. Some trans people never were their AGAB. Some feel like they were their AGAB, but that that changed (usually when puberty hits, which is when you start “becoming a man/woman”. The accepted societal path is that girls grow up to into women, and boys grow up into men. But some girls grow up into men, and some boys grow up into women. This guy was a boy who grew up into a man, which generally works out pretty well for people. Some boys and girls grow up into people who aren’t men or women, even! It’s like this random cis guy skipped right over transgender 101, 102, 201, etc. and stumbled directly into Transgender Nirvana.

I had so much fun drawing this. Any of you who know me personally know that Ellis is basically my child and I will take any opportunity to draw her or make her in any game that gives me purple hair in a character creator 😁. For this, I wanted to draw her in her seeker uniform, so before What Makes a Seeker. I also did this to go with a new Luctine Archives story that will be going up as soon as I finish editing it about one of her missions as a seeker.
This was also a fun little pride drawing for me. I’ve always found it so cool when people draw their characters to celebrate and I wanted to do my own spin on that. I plan to do this style with more of my characters, such as Amelia, Cynthia, and the cast of another story series I’ve been working on.
Am I doing too many things at once? Probably but it’s a lot of fun for me to get back into a bunch of creative habits I used to have.

i really am happy with street fighter 6 taking the time to include a lot more than just an arcade mode and online matchmaking. i love the idea of the fighting hub and character creator and customisation! social features are always a fantastic addition, same with crossplay. a lot of pelple want to play WITH someone and not just against them
also the story mode thing is actually a lot of fucking fun so far and im adoring it. again, its a cute little way to get new leople into the game. its workjng for me! im getting used to the flow of combat easily through weak enemies while exploring and learning combos through fucking pizza minigames. i dont wanna sit witj a dummy and read lists all the fucking time until im good enough to play with my mates
man its fucking refreshing to me to see something actually new in a genre
Gamers be like “this game should be extremely exclusive for a specific group with a specific skillset developed over decades” then be like “why do none of the games in my favourite genre sell” without a hint of irony
You know, in my line of work, I’ve found that making a game that more people can physically play makes it so more people are able to buy that game.
